Abstract
Legitimacy is the only manner to allow the identity in a democratic system, an identity that can be called “public”: an identity with “public questions”, with order, with public organization, an identity that needs to be built, by means of an inter-subjective collaboration in the sense of what we feel that we think and build together. This is the meaning that needs to be lived, believed, understood and practiced by those who belong to a democratic society.
